Queen Scented Candle

Queen is honey and dry hay with a thread of pine, warm and a little strange in the best way. Beeswax and heliotrope do most of the work, so it smells like a field in August rather than a dessert.

Top: wild lupine, elemi, cardamom, pine needle. Mid: beeswax, daisy, honey. Base: hay, heliotrope, cedarwood.

Hand-poured coconut and soy wax, 11 oz, about 55 hours of burn. The black ceramic jar is food-safe, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, so it becomes a mug when the candle is done.

The one for someone who says they do not like florals. Burn it in a living room where the honey has space to open up.
