Toys, Ride-Ons and Sensory Fidgets
A wide range covering wooden cars, ride-ons, magnetic tiles, plush and the fidgets that sell better than anything else here. Prices run from the low twenties up to the large ride-on cars.
The Nee Doh squishies are the best sellers in the whole collection and they are not toys in the traditional sense at all. The Nice Cube is the solid one, the Gum Drop is softer with a more elastic pull, and the Fuzz Ball adds a flocked velvet surface. They cost around twenty-five dollars and they end up on desks and in pockets as often as in toy boxes.
Magna-Tiles are the most popular construction toy here. The sets run from a small expansion pack up to the fifty-piece fire station, and they all work together, so a second box adds to the first rather than duplicating it. That is what makes them worth buying into.
Candylab makes the wooden vehicles, solid wood on rubber tyres, in designs from a dumpling van through to a fire truck. They are the ones that survive more than one child, and the smaller ones fit a pocket.
The ride-on cars from Baghera are the top of the range. They are designed near Paris under Emmanuel Nouveau and built to EU and US safety standards, in metal rather than plastic, with a real working steering wheel. The Mustang, the Fiat 500 roadster and the red fireman's speedster are the three shapes.
For younger children there is plush from Mary Meyer, sigikid and Steiff, covered in full under stuffed animals, with sizes running from about six inches up to eighteen. Leo the lion and Nanouk the polar bear are the two largest.
If you know the child's age, that narrows it faster than anything else. The magnetic tiles and wooden cars suit toddlers, the ride-ons suit roughly two and up, and the fidgets work at almost any age.
We keep the range in stock. If there is a particular toy or character you are looking for that you are not able to find on the website, reach out to us and we will be glad to help.
