ELS Exclusives

This collection is the work that is made for this shop and the makers we stock directly, so you will not find the same pieces in many other places. It runs from a single personalised pencil at the low end up to the largest paper mache gourds and the Helle Mardahl glass at the top.

Our own line is the biggest part of it. The collage and foil stamped stationery sets each hold ten cards and ten lined envelopes in an acrylic box, with the envelopes lined in digitally printed paper and the cards on warm or soft white stock. They come in seasonal and year-round designs, and the cards are 4.25 by 5.5 inches. Alongside them sit the tortoiseshell acrylic trays and notepads, which cover a run of patterns from pastel pink and vintage floral to mid-century designs, and the silk keepsake ornaments we make each year.

The Mix and Match pencils are made in the USA and hand printed, standard length with a smooth number two core, and they can be personalised with a name at no extra cost, which makes them the cheapest way into the range.

Then there are the makers. Elena N Medina's paper mache pumpkins and gourds are hand made in four sizes, and each one is a single piece rather than part of a run. Flamingo Estate supplies soap bricks in fragrances like jasmine damask rose and rosemary green leaf parsley, poured at twelve ounces. Their candles use vegetable wax and a cotton wick, which is what gives them the clean burn.

The glassware and brass round it out. Helle Mardahl's mouth-blown candle holders and Bonbonnieres come in candy colours named after the things they resemble, and Skultuna's polished brass covers trays, bottle openers and the Lisa Larson animal pieces. Every one of those is handmade, so the shape and colour shift slightly from piece to piece.

The apparel is ours too: the oversized mockneck sweatshirts are the most popular thing in the collection and come in cream and crimson.
