Candy, chocolate and cotton candy, most of it under ten dollars and much of it bought to go with something else. The range runs from a single-serve bag of cotton candy up to the larger boxes.

Sugarfina makes up the largest part of it, and it sits with the rest of the gift range. Their small boxes cover the grown-up end: Rainbow Bears in grapefruit, apricot, pineapple, apple and blueberry, champagne and sparkling rosé bears, bourbon bears made with single-barrel bourbon, and heavenly sours made with real fruit juice. They come in brightly coloured packaging that makes them easy to give as they are, and the small boxes are the size that fits a stocking or a corner of a gift box.

French Broad Chocolate supplies the chocolate. Their hot chocolate is made with bean-to-bar dark chocolate from their own Asheville factory, and each cylinder makes eight drinks with your milk of choice. The peppermint bark is the seasonal one, and both arrive in packaging designed to be given rather than thrown away.

Flossie handles the children. The cotton candy is single-serve and made in Canada, at around forty calories a portion, gluten-free, vegan and nut-free, in birthday cake, strawberry and green apple. It is one of the few sweets that works for almost any dietary requirement.

Hammond's all-natural candy puffs are the traditional one, in five-ounce gift bags, and they are kosher certified.

One thing worth knowing: sweets are exempt from most of our shipping promotions, and the chocolate does not like being left in a warm place, so it is worth ordering it for delivery when someone is in.
