Most of this collection is what people put on a shelf, a desk or a bedside table: candles, glass, porcelain and brass, alongside the smaller pieces that get used every day. The bulk of it falls between twenty and eighty dollars, with the Helle Mardahl glass and the Skultuna brass at the top of the range.
The single best-selling thing here is the Kerosene Jade Lighter. It is a solid brass lighter with a brushed finish, about two inches square, and it runs on standard lighter fluid, so it refills rather than getting thrown away when it runs out. That is the appeal of most of what is on this page: objects chosen because they last, not because they are cheap.
The Haws Fazeley Flow is the other piece this collection is known for. It comes in copper, brass, green, terracotta, Peppercorn Pink and Bluebell Meadow, and it pours a direct stream rather than a spray, which is what makes it useful for houseplants instead of a windowsill. The copper one-pint is the version that sells fastest, and the Classic Jug in cream or graphite is its larger companion.
For the desk itself, the tortoiseshell acrylic trays come with a matching notepad and cover a run of patterns, from pastel pink and vintage floral through to mid-century designs. They hold a pen, a phone and the odds and ends that otherwise drift across a table.
The rest of the range is where the gifting happens. Skultuna's polished brass covers trays, bottle openers and the Lisa Larson animal pieces. Helle Mardahl's mouth-blown glass and porcelain arrive in candy colours named after the things they resemble. Cobalt Guild's blue and white porcelain jars start in the low twenties and run up through the larger lidded pieces. There are candles from Nette, Apotheke and 1986, pewter-based double old-fashioned glasses from Vagabond House that are dishwasher safe, and a 1930 Tarot de Marseille deck reprinted from the original.
If you are buying for someone whose taste you know but whose wishlist you do not, the useful question is what they already keep on a desk. A tray, a candle, a brass object or a lighter almost always fits, and the collection is laid out so you can see all of them at once.
We keep the range in stock. If there is something particular you are looking for that you are not able to find on the website, reach out to us and we will be glad to help.
