Beaded and Stackable Bracelets
The finer end of the Sweet and Kind range, also made by Millie, our owner's eight-year-old daughter, with a portion of every sale going to the Middleburg Humane Foundation. These are the patterns where the beadwork does the work rather than a large charm sitting on top of it.
Most of them use small seed beads as the base with one larger element set into them, which is what keeps the bracelet sitting flat against a wrist rather than standing proud of it. That flatness is why four or five can be worn together without any of them digging in, and stacking them is how the range is designed to be worn.
The patterns cover mixed colourful beads, pastel flowers, butterflies, red and green gummies, and pink beads with pearls threaded through them. Colours run from a single tone through to a full mix, so a stack can be built to one colour or deliberately scattered.
Each bracelet is five dollars, made from four millimetre seed beads in metallic, pearl or iridescent finishes, and three to three and a quarter inches in diameter.
Because they are beaded by hand, no two are identical and the pattern shifts slightly from one to the next. Millie works through new combinations as she goes, so the range changes rather than staying fixed.
They are the cheapest thing we sell and among the most popular with children, working well as stocking fillers, and they work as party favours, stocking fillers and classroom gifts.

They also make good small gifts on their own account. At five dollars, a single bracelet is cheap enough to give without an occasion, and a set of three in one colour makes a present that looks chosen rather than bought in a rush. The metallic and iridescent finishes catch light without being loud, which is why they work for adults as well as children.
