Youth Crewneck Sweatshirts

Our own youth crewnecks, designed and illustrated here in Middleburg. There is one design, in youth sizes, and it is an Every Little Something original rather than something we buy in.

The Middleburg crewneck was designed and illustrated by our owner and stationery designer, Nicole Ferguson, as part of the wider sweatshirt range, and it takes the buildings and the landscape of the town as its subject. It is the local one: the piece people buy for children who live here, and for anyone who has moved away and wants something that remembers the place.

It is made for everyday wear rather than for best. School days, playtime and weekends at home are what it was designed for, so the fabric is soft, the fit is comfortable, and the print is set to survive a washing machine. Wash cold and dry flat to keep the artwork from cracking, and it will hold up to being worn constantly, which is what happens to the sweatshirt a child actually likes.

Sizing runs true to age. The crewneck shape is deliberately simple, with a ribbed collar and cuffs that do not stretch out, and it sits well whether it is worn alone or over a t-shirt.

It pairs with the adult mockneck in the same range, which means a parent and child can wear the same idea in the right shape for each of them. That is how most of them are bought.

Because these are made in small runs rather than restocked continuously, a particular size is sometimes not available. If you are looking for one you cannot see, it is worth asking.

We keep the range in stock as runs come in. If there is a size or design you are looking for that you are not able to find on the website, reach out to us and we will be glad to help.
