Collection: Miffy

Miffy Plush, Stationery and Gifts

Miffy is the little white rabbit first drawn by the Dutch artist Dick Bruna in 1955, and she features in more than thirty of his books. In the Netherlands she is known as nijntje, from the Dutch word for little bunny. This collection gathers everything we carry for her: the official Bon Ton Toys plush, notebooks and eraser sets from Studio Oh!, sticky memo pads, pens and a pencil pouch from K-Wonderland, and a fuzzy sticker sheet from Pipsticks. Most of the range sits under twenty dollars, with the plush at the top of it around thirty.

The plush is the part of the range that gets handed on. Bon Ton Toys is the official Miffy soft toy maker, and each piece is handmade and filled with recycled PET. They sit about nine inches tall and come in two finishes: corduroy, with its ribbed, jacket-like texture, and terry, which is softer and closer to a towel. Colours run from soft green and peach through to fuchsia pink, and there is one for a nursery as much as one for a desk.

The stationery side is where the range gets practical. The Studio Oh! spiral notebook has a hard cover, a soft chenille Miffy patch on the front, 160 lined pages with artwork on each, and a sheet of stickers tucked inside. The eraser set packs five Miffy erasers in paper. From K-Wonderland there are the sticky memo pads in their foldable cases, a seven-piece set of 0.5mm DONG-A ballpoint pens made in Korea, and a pencil pouch in soft faux leather with a star charm on the zip. Everything sits alongside our notebooks and journals if you want to compare sizes.

For gifting, the easiest picks are the sticker sheet and the memo pad, both under ten dollars and both things a Miffy fan will use rather than store away. The pens, the eraser set and the pouch make good back-to-school presents, and the plush is the one people buy to mark an occasion. If you are buying for someone who already has the classics, the Pipsticks sticker sheet and the pouch come in prints the standard range does not.

The range is in stock and ready to ship. If there is a Miffy piece you have seen that we do not have on the site, get in touch and we will help you find it.
