We’re excited to share that Every Little Something was selected as the winner of the Town of Middleburg’s Christmas decorating contest this holiday season.
What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that the contest is shopper-led. Votes are cast by local shoppers and town visitors, making it a true reflection of what resonated with the Middleburg community throughout the holidays. To everyone who stopped, lingered, and voted—thank you.
Each year, Middleburg’s holiday season brings the town to life, with storefronts thoughtfully decorated to create a festive and welcoming atmosphere. At Every Little Something, we approach our holiday windows with the same care and intention we bring to everything we do.
Our design for this year’s window was intentionally rooted in paper, a nod to our beginnings and our ongoing love for stationery. The display featured layers of old book pages arranged to create texture and movement, alongside a hand-crafted papier-mâché polar bear ice skating—playful, unexpected, and entirely paper-based.
Paper has always been at the heart of Every Little Something. It’s where our business began, and it continues to shape how we think about design, storytelling, and detail—whether in custom wedding stationery, the goods we curate in-store, or even how we dress a window for the holidays.
Winning this contest is a reminder that thoughtful design doesn’t have to be loud to be impactful. Sometimes it’s the material, the craftsmanship, and the story behind it that people connect with most.
We’re grateful to the Town of Middleburg for organizing such a festive tradition, and to the shoppers and visitors who took the time to vote. Being part of this community—and contributing to the magic of Middleburg during the holidays—is something we truly value.
Thank you for celebrating the season with us and for supporting Every Little Something, in our shop windows and beyond.
