Everything here is small enough to wrap and most of it costs under fifteen dollars, which is the range a stocking filler actually lives in. It is a collection built for padding out the gaps around a main present rather than replacing it.

The sticky notes are the most useful thing on the page. Girl of All Work cuts them into corgi, fox, hedgehog, frog, bear and French bulldog shapes, and OOLY's Note Pals tabs come in books of ninety or more, with designs from frosted donuts to sugar sweets. Midori's paper clips and nano clips cover the tidier version of the same idea.

The Travel Dice Set is the piece that sells most after the lighters. It is a set of five half-inch acrylic dice in a leather case, sized so they travel without taking up room but still feel substantial in the hand, which makes it a good present for someone who plays cards or games.

For pens and pencils, the Drehgriffel ballpoint is made from precision-milled aluminium and brass, lacquered and sealed, takes refills, and is document proof. The ten-colour pens with a character topper are the cheaper, cheerier option, and the Mix and Match pencils can be personalised with a name. There are gel pens that change scent as you write and glitter pens in a set of four.

The rest covers the small things that get used and lost: astronaut erasers, brush markers in dual tones, sticker books from OOLY's Stickiville range, and the packs of vintage stamps we sort by hand.

A few of these are worth more than a stocking filler and get bought as proper presents instead.
